Overview

All Aboard! Our 40-minute conductor-narrated authentic train tour of 105 acre Kilohana Plantation takes you back to Hawaii’s Golden Sugar Era when sugar was King, as well as today’s setting for a real working farm. You will see rows of fruit tree orchards & fields, and animal pastures, and the train will stop for you to disembark and feed a herd of wild pigs, goats & sheep. All of the produce that you’ll see is either used at Kilohana’s renowned courtyard restaurant Gaylord’s, or sold at the “Farmers’ Market” Kilohana Plantation is the only remaining plantation on the island where you can see, taste, and experience Kauai’s beauty, bounty, and history.
