Overview

Slip back into time. Experience the feeling of old Hawaii as you kayak the Hanalei River to Hanlaei Bay.. A wholly personalized narrated tour of the beautiful Hanalei River and Hanalei Bay, the largest natural bay on Kaua’i. Learn about Kauai’s rich history, legends, folklore, and natural beauty. It is the only river on Kaua’i where no commercial motorized boats are allowed. Visit the home of the green sea turtle, snorkel amongst the beautiful reefs, and explore the abundant marine life, followed by a relaxing lunch on a secluded beach.

All snorkel gear, waterproof bags, and deli-style lunches are provided for our Morning Bay Explorer Tour, and a snack & refreshments for our Afternoon Bay Explorer Tour. Double/Tandem kayaks are required with all tour bookings except for odd-numbered groups in which a single kayak will be used.

Tour Time:

• Morning 4 to 4 1/2 Hour Tour: 8:30 am – 1 pm includes lunch
• Afternoon 3 to 3 1/2 Hour Tour: 2:30 pm – 6 pm includes snacks

Restrictions:

• Participants must be in good physical condition and able to get in and out of their kayaks independently. This activity is not recommended for those with back, hip, or knee problems.
• 250 lbs weight limit per seat.
• Women up to 7 months of pregnancy may participate.
• All participants must use double/tandem kayaks, except in odd-numbered groups, in which a single kayak will be used.
• Customers are welcome to bring their snorkel gear, except for full-face snorkel masks. Full-face snorkel masks are not permitted: Participants are required to use traditional two-piece snorkel mask sets.
• Upon check-in, a refund will not be provided for anyone deemed unable to participate for any of the reasons above.

Perfect for all ages, couples, and families. About three hours of easy sightseeing, paddling, and snorkeling. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of tours within 48 hours (before the activity date) will be charged at 100% of the activity cost.
